The Mühlsee is a small lake near the Innsbruck suburb of Lans at approx. 850 m above sea level. It can be reached from the tram line 6 stop . The lake has a length of 150 m and a width of 100 m, the water surface is 1.5 hectares with a depth of up to 3 meters.

The lake used to have a tributary through the Lanser Bach , which was cut off by a mudslide in 1965. Today it is fed by private sources. The drainage continues into the Mühlseebachl.

Today the lake is used by the owners as a private bathing pond.
