Munich Business Plan Competition

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

(Prospective) founders and start-ups can submit their business concept to the Munich Business Plan Competition . Every participant in the business plan competition receives feedback from the jurors and the winners are awarded cash prizes. On the one hand, the aim is to support founders in developing a good business plan. On the other hand, young companies with particularly great potential are presented to the start-up scene and the public.

The competition is aimed at participants from southern Bavaria. Every year around 250 participating teams take part. The jurors are experienced entrepreneurs, managers or experts such as consultants, lawyers, patent attorneys, auditors, etc. Investors also provide feedback as financial jurors. The cash prizes range from 500 euros in level 1 to 15,000 euros for first place in level 3.

In order to support the participants, BayStartUP offers workshops on writing business plans and entrepreneurially relevant topics alongside the competition, as well as auxiliary tools such as the "Business Plan Creation Manual."

participation

The competition takes place annually, with a season from autumn to summer. It is divided into three levels with increasing requirements, each of which is self-contained. At each stage, judges give feedback and the winners are awarded. In the following stage, all participants can take part regardless of their placement, as can newcomers. Ideally, the participants get the jury feedback in all three stages and thus develop their business plan step by step.

The following applies to participants: It is irrelevant whether the company has already been set up or not. Fundamentally, however, there should still be a need for financing to specify and implement the business idea. The jurors are bound to confidentiality.

Regional coverage
