The Numismatic Collection of the University of Uppsala is next to the Royal Coin Cabinet in Stockholm one of the most important coin collections in Sweden .

Due to its broad collection, it is also of international importance. The beginnings of the collection go back to the 17th century. Today the collection comprises almost 40,000 objects, which are continuously published on the website of the Münzkabinett. The coin cabinet is located in the main building of Uppsala University.
