The M113 FüFu is an armored command and radio vehicle of the Bundeswehr . It is based on the M113 A2 transport tank . The main difference to the basic version is the extensive equipment with 2 radios SEM 80/90 (previous radio version: 2 x SEM 25 + 1 x EM 25 (S3 radio group), or 2 x SEM 25 (S2 radio group)) for speech - and radio data transmission and a card table. Externally they can be recognized by the missing external fuel tanks and the extendable mast antenna on the left rear side.

The FüFus were in action with the Panzergrenadier , tank reconnaissance and tank battalions. Two personnel carriers , as the vehicles are also called, form a mobile command post. From here, the battalion commander coordinates the deployment of the combat companies. The vehicles do not receive the service life extension (NDV) 1 or 2 and are gradually being taken out of service. The upgraded M113 G3 GE (command post tank) with NDV 2 serves as a replacement.
