1990 presented MAN (chassis) and Göppel (structure) with the NM 152 a low-floor - Midibus . In this bus, which was visually adapted to the VÖV bus, all the seats were on pedestals.

In 1993 the NM 152 was replaced by the MAN NM 152 (2) . In terms of looks, it largely corresponds to the NM 152 (model 469). The main difference was the low-pedestal arrangement of the seats and a kink in the lower line of the window band.

In addition, around 1993 MAN began manufacturing another midibus under the designation NM 152 (model A05). In terms of design, this differed significantly from the types mentioned above. The main features include the fourfold and larger tires, the short rear overhang and the use of the four-cylinder turbo diesel engine D0824 LOH.

In relation to the normal low-floor bus, only a few copies were built. Nevertheless, MAN and Göppel are the market leaders for midibuses.

In the meantime, the NM 152 have been taken out of service by most transport companies and are mostly only used by private bus operators or abroad.
