The MStE E 1–2 are two electric locomotives operated by the Mixnitz – Sankt Erhard (MStE) local railway .

The vehicles were procured in 1913 when the Mixnitz-Sankt Erhard local railway started operating. The local railway was operated by the Südbahngesellschaft until January 1, 1924, the BBÖ from January 1, 1924 to January 1, 1927 , and since then the Styria Railway .

The machines have a central driver's cab and two low stems in which the engines are housed. The Lyra bracket originally on the driver's cab roof has now been exchanged for a pantograph. The presumably original green color scheme has been replaced by a light blue.

The vehicles are still in use.
