MUPF glue

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

MUPF glue , derived from the name melamine-urea-phenol-formaldehyde glue , is a glue mixture that is used in the production of wood-based materials such as chipboard and chipboard , especially in the top layer of the materials.

MUPF glue consists of a mixture of melamine , urea , phenol and formaldehyde ; In the variant without the addition of phenol, it is also used as MUF glue. Compared to PMDI glue ( polymer diphenylmethane diisocyanate ), which is mainly used in the middle layer, it is cheaper.
