She played for the first time internationally at the Junior Pacific Asia Championship in 2015 as a second in the Chinese junior women's team around Skip Jiang Yilun . The Chinese moved into the final and lost to South Korea with Skip Kim Eun-bi . At the 2017 Winter Universiade , she played third and finished seventh.
In December 2017 she played as lead in the Chinese national team of Wang Bingyu at the Olympic qualifying tournament in Pilsen . The Chinese were able to secure one of the last two starting places for the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang . There Ma came fifth with the Chinese women's team after four wins and five defeats in the Round Robin .
