Ma Zhong (Shu)

Ma Zhong ( Chinese  德 信 , Pinyin Déxìn ) was a general of the Chinese state Shu Han at the time of the Three Kingdoms .

While no details about his life have come down to us from historical sources, his character in Luo Guanzhong's historical novel The Story of the Three Kingdoms takes on clearer features. Here Ma Zhong and Zhang Yi are captured by the leader Zhurong on a campaign against the Nanman .
