MadC (* 1980 in Bautzen as Claudia Walde ) is a German graffiti artist and author .

Life

Claudia Walde, better known under the pseudonym MadC, studied at Burg Giebichenstein in Halle and at Central Saint Martins College in London . In 1998 she began to use spray cans to design walls in her home country and later walls around the world in more than 35 countries with her graffiti. She is currently one of the world's most famous graffiti artists. Her work can be found in Germany, Spain, South Africa, Mexico, Hong Kong, the Czech Republic, Sweden, USA, Great Britain, Ireland, the Netherlands, Poland, France, Greece and Lebanon.

The subject of writing runs in abstraction through the entire work of the young artist. In doing so, she always strives to create energetic connections and networks. Claudia Walde's paintings are dominated by transparencies and bright colors. She achieves this luminosity by using spray paints together with watercolor and acrylic .

Claudia Walde is a member of various artistic groups such as the Bandits (GER / F), the Wallnuts Crew (USA) and the Stick up Kids (planet earth).
