Madarosis

Madarosis ( Greek madaros , bald), also Madesis , describes the loss of the eyelashes and lateral eyebrows . It can be caused by a chronic inflammatory disease of the eyelid, especially by chronic blepharitis and as a side effect of a drug glaucoma therapy with prostaglandin F 2a - antagonists .
