Madeleine-Rita Mittendorf

Madeleine-Rita Mittendorf (* 2. May 1950 in Magdeburg ) is a German politician of the SPD and deputies in the parliament of Saxony-Anhalt .

Life and work

Mittendorf graduated from the polytechnic high school in 1966. From 1966 to 1969 she did vocational training with a high school diploma as an industrial clerk . She then studied Russian / German in Magdeburg until 1973 (graduate teacher). From 1973 to 1976 she worked as a teacher in Magdeburg. Since 1976 she has been a research assistant at the PH Magdeburg / Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg . The employment relationship has been suspended since 1994. In December 2015, the Otto von Guericke University in Magdeburg adopted her with a ceremony.

Madeleine-Rita Mittendorf is divorced and has one child.

Political party

Mittendorf joined the SPD in 1992. From 1997 to 2006 she was deputy chairwoman of the SPD district association Ohrekreis. She is a member of the board of the new Bördekreis .

MPs

From 1992 to 2004 Mittendorf was parliamentary group leader in the district council of the Ohrekreis. She has been a member of the state parliament since the second electoral period (1994). Mittendorf represents the constituency of Haldensleben and was a member of the Committee for Education, Science and Culture until 2016.
