The flowering figs of the Madeleine des deux Saisons variety are teardrop-shaped, golden yellow to brown, often with vertical stripes. These figs, which appear very early - in June - are very large and usually weigh between 100 and 120 grams, record fruits up to 250 grams. The autumn figs ripen in Central Europe from September to October, are golden brown to purple and weigh 70 to 80 grams. The flesh is pink, slightly darker in autumn. The fruit tastes sweet and has an excellent aroma.
