The Madoi district (also Matö ; Chinese  玛多 县 , Pinyin Mǎduō Xiàn ; Tibetan རྨ་ སྟོད་ རྫོང , transcription after Wylie rma stod rdzong ) is a district of the Golog Autonomous District of the Tibetans in the southeast of the Chinese province of Qinghai . In 1999 it had 10,717 inhabitants. Its main town is the urban settlement Machali (玛 查 里) in the large municipality of Huanghe (Huánghé Xiàng 黄河 乡).

The freshwater lakes Co Gyaring ( 扎陵湖 , Zhaling Hu ) and Co Ngoring ( 鄂陵湖 , Eling Hu ), which belong to the river network of the Huang He headwaters , are located on its territory.
