Baima (Golog)

Baima County ( Chinese  班 玛 县 , Pinyin Bānmǎ Xiàn ; Tibetan pad ma , "Pema") is a district in the south of the Tibetan Golog Autonomous District in the southeast of the Chinese province of Qinghai . In 1999 it had 20,048 inhabitants. Its main town is the large municipality of Sêraitang (Sàiláitáng Zhèn 赛 来 塘镇).

Administrative structure

At the community level, the district consists of one large community and eight communities . These are ( pinyin / chin.):

• Community Makehe玛柯河乡
• Jika municipality 吉卡 乡
• Daka municipality 达卡 乡
• Community Zhiqin知钦乡
• Community Jiangritang江日堂乡
• Community Yartang亚尔堂乡
• Dengta parish 灯塔 乡

The following monasteries are located in the district:

• Yarthang Monastery
• Cagrithang monastery
• Dodrubchen Monastery
