Maqên (also making ; Tibetan རྨ་ ཆེན , inscription after Wylie rma chen ; Chinese  玛沁 县 , Pinyin Mǎqìn Xiàn ) is a district in the Chinese province of Qinghai . It belongs to the administrative area of ​​the Golog Autonomous District of the Tibetans. It has an area of ​​13,636 square kilometers and has around 40,000 inhabitants. Its main town is the large community of Dawu (Dàwǔ Zhèn 大 武 镇).
