Maenan
Maenan is a village in North Wales . Maenan is located directly on Snowdonia National Park and is 23 kilometers from the island of Anglesey (as the crow flies). The census showed a population of around 300 in the sparsely populated village.

The 2001 census put the population of Maenan and Llanddoged together. The population was 574 at the time, an increase of 72 compared to 1991. 70% of the population were born in Wales and almost the same proportion of the population have a command of the Welsh language .

Ysgol Maenan Elementary School once existed, but it was closed in the early 1990s. However, there are elementary schools in the neighboring villages of Llanddoged and Eglwysbach . There is a secondary school in Ysgol Dyffryn Conwy .
