Magadanskaja Prawda ( Russian Магаданская правда ) is a Russian regional social policy newspaper that appears in Magadan on Tuesdays and Fridays (circulation 10,000-20,000).

The newspaper first appeared on October 1, 1932 under the title Dalstroi (after the regionally defining state company Dalstroi ), after several renaming in the early years, it was renamed Sovetskaya Kolyma (translated "Soviet Kolyma ", after the river and the region ) from July 23, 1935 ) and - after the formation of the Magadan Oblast on December 3, 1953 - since January 20, 1954 the current name. In the Soviet period until the early 1990s, the newspaper was an organ of the Oblast Committee of the CPSU and the Oblast Council of People's Deputies (the regional legislature ). Today it is among other things the official gazette of the oblast administration.
