The Magda Nunatak ( Polish Nunatak Magdy ) is a small nunatak on the shores of King George Bay off King George Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It looms west of the Lions Rump .
Polish scientists named him in 1981 after Magdalena "Magda" Swierszcz, who had belonged to the technical staff of two Polish expeditions to the Antarctic (1977–1978 and 1979–1980).
