Magda Apanowicz (born November 8, 1985 in Vancouver , British Columbia ) is a Canadian actress of Polish descent, best known for her role as Andy Jensen in the television series Kyle XY .

Apanowicz studied at the Vancouver Film School and began her career in 2002 with short appearances on the television series Jeremiah and The John Doe Case! . Her first role in a major movie was the Butterfly Effect . There she played a punk girl. In 2007 she played Ursula Wilson in the TV movie Devils Diary . From 2007 to 2009 she played the role of cancer patient Andy Jensen in the mystery series Kyle XY . In 2008 she played a role in the film Every Second Counts .

From 2009 to 2010 she was in the spinoff Caprica from Battlestar Galactica to be seen as Lacy Rand. In 2013 she stood in front of the camera for the pilot of Dead Souls alongside Bill Moseley . In 2012 she played the leading role in the television film The End of the World - The 12 Mayan Prophecies , and the following year she starred in The Green Inferno . Her work includes more than 30 film and television productions.
