Magda Lukácsovits

Magda Lukácsovits (* 1933 in Großkarol ) is a Transylvanian - Hungarian painter . She studied painting at the Art Academy in Cluj-Napoca (Transylvania) a. a. with Sándor Mohy. Magda Lukácsovits lived and worked in Transylvania until 1981 and then moved with her family to Bad Tölz , where she worked as a restorer , church painter and painter until her retirement . Magda Lukácsovits's artistic career began at the High School for Fine Arts in Nagybánya (historical Hungary / Transylvania), the city where Hungarian modern painting began in 1896. Under the guidance of art educators such as Géza Vida and Lidia Agricola, Magda learned the basics of the Nagybánya / Frauenbach modern style, which is known in Central and Eastern Europe.
