Magda Willi
Magda Willi (* 1978 in Zurich ) is a Swiss stage and costume designer.
She studied stage and costume design at the Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London from 1999–2003 , then worked at the Schaubühne am Lehniner Platz, from 2004 as a stage design assistant, then from 2005–2008 as a permanent position. She started working as a freelance set and costume designer in 2008. Since then, Schiller's Don Carlos was with her set at the Theatertreffen (2011, Staatsschauspiel Dresden , directed by Roger Vontobel ), Verrücktes Blut , the first post-migrant play at the Theatertreffen by Nurkan Erpulat and Jens Hillje at Ballhaus Naunynstraße was not only at the Theatertreffen but also at the Ruhrtriennale. She was at the Bayreuth Festival with the children's opera Der Ring des Nibelungen , directed by Maximilian von Mayenburg , and has worked with Thomas Ostermeier , Sebastian Nübling , Benedict Andrews , Egill Palsson and Yael Ronen, among others .
