Magdeburg measure

The Magdeburg area measure , the Magdeburger Morgen, was officially used from 1793. From 1813 it was called the Prussian measure . The Magdeburger Morgen was divided into the small and the large Magdeburger Morgen.

  • 1 small acre = 180 square rods (Rhineland) = 25,920 Prussian square feet ≈ 0.255322 hectares = 2553.22 square meters
  • 1 Magdeburg Hufe = 15 large acres = 30 small acres = 5400 square rods ≈ 7.6597 hectares ≈ 0.0766 square kilometers
