Maggs Island is an island off the Mawson Coast of the east Antarctic Mac Robertson Land . It is one of the larger islands of the Rookery Islands in Holme Bay and is about 3.5 km from the mainland.
It is named after Thomas Maggs, who was station and campaign manager in the Australian Antarctic program from 1979 to 2012.
