Magic Sam
Magic Sam , actually Sam Maghett (born February 14, 1937 in Grenada , Mississippi , † December 1, 1969 ) was an American blues guitarist and singer.
Live and act
In 1956 Magic Sam went to Chicago , where he was able to gain a foothold in the blues clubs with his outstanding guitar playing. From 1957 he made recordings and had his first hits with All Your Love and Easy Baby ; In 1960 jazz musician Boyd Atkins also took part in his recordings. In 1963 his single Feelin 'Good (We're Gonna Boogie) became a US hit. After touring the United States, England and Germany, he recorded the albums West Side Soul and Black Magic .
In December 1969, Magic Sam died of a heart attack. He was buried in Alsip , Illinois .
