Maglehøj (Odsherred)
The Maglehøj in Odsherred is the largest grave mound in Odsherred . It is located between Åstofte and Høve in Odsherred Municipality on the Danish island of Zealand .
The oval Maglehøj has a diameter of about 30.0 by 35.0 m and is 7.0 m high. Its uneven top is 86.0 m above sea level. From here you have a view of the Sejerø Bay ( Sejerø Bugt in Danish ).
West of Maglehøj are three smaller burial mounds and between them the older Langdysse Asnæs Kæmpegraven , an approximately 60 m long long dolmen . The Bronze Age people respected the older tomb when they built their mounds during the Bronze Age about 3500 years ago.
