Magnús Pétursson

Magnús Pétursson (born September 14, 1940 in Reykjavík ) is an Icelandic phonetician .

Life

He took the Thèse d'Université in 1969 and Thèse d'État in 1973 at the University of Strasbourg . From 1974 to 1983 he was a research assistant in Hamburg . From 1983 to 2005 he taught as a professor for general applied phonetics at the University of Hamburg .
