Magnetic drive

Magnetic stirrer in operation

A magnetic drive is a magnetic coupling with an integrated drive.

Magnetic drives are used for pumping aggressive and toxic liquids in pumps . These pump drives have an electric motor and, instead of the clutch, two magnet groups: the inner magnet and the outer magnet and a non-magnetizable can between them, which at the same time represents the hermetic separation between the liquid and the atmosphere. Another application is the magnetic stirrer .
