Magyar Úszó Egylet , or Magyar ÚE Budapest for short , was a Hungarian sports club . He played from 1901 to 1905 in the first Hungarian league, the Nemzeti Bajnokság .

history

Magyar Úszó Egylet ( Magyar ÚE for short ; German  Hungarian Swimming Society ) was founded in 1893 by the swimmers of the Magyar AC . The soccer department was one of the founding members of the first Hungarian soccer league, the Nemzeti Bajnokság , in 1901 . He celebrated his greatest success with the runner-up in the 1901 season . He then fought to stay in class and had to relegate after the 1905 season . The two following seasons did not finish the club in the Hungarian second division and withdrew from the game. In 1930 the name was changed to Magyar Úszó Egyesület ( German  Hungarian Swimming Association ). In 1945 the name was changed to Magyar Munkás Úszó Egyesület ( German  Hungarian Workers' Swimming Association ) before it was disbanded in 1948.
