Mail redirection

A mail forwarding , English bounce is retransmitting received emails to other email addresses . According to the Internet standard RFC 821 , mail transfer agents can do this automatically if they can correct incorrectly written addresses. The sender information remains unchanged.

In contrast, English is at a mail forwarding forwarding , by a mail user agent changed the sender's address, set its own address and the subject, for example Fwd: prefixed. Mail transfer agents can do the same.
