The Persian-language magazine Majlis ( Persian مجلس, DMG Maǧlis , “Parliament” or “Assembly”) was published between 1906 and 1908 in Tehran . A total of 325 issues were published in a single year, each consisting of eight pages and distributed free of charge.

Majlis was considered the journal of the Constitutional Revolution and was the mouthpiece of Parliament. Its aim was to make Parliament's negotiations and their results available to the public directly and unfiltered. The publisher was Mirza Mohsen Mojtahed and its editor-in-chief Seyed Mohammad Hosseini Tabatabaei.

The magazine provided just as much information about the rural dimension of the revolution as it did about the socio-economic situation in the country at the time and the various strikes and protests. Letters to the editor also reflected the prevailing controversy between intellectuals, conservatives and the peasantry on various political issues. During the period of its publication, the magazine was not subject to any state censorship.
