Implementations

Light novel

Jougi Shiraishi started Majo no Tabitabi as a web novel and debuted on Amazon Kindle in April 2014 , but had poor sales at the beginning. Shiraishi started advertising on 2channel and reached a larger readership. This is how the publisher SB Creative became aware of the novel, which then began to publish the light novel in print form in its magazine GA Novel from April 2016 .

The publisher Yen Press published the novel in the English language in North America.

Manga

Shiraishi started a web manga implementation in November 2018 with illustrations by Itsuki Nanao . This appeared on the smartphone app Manga UP! as well as on their website. Square Enix will be releasing a printed edition of the manga in July 2019. The original release date was May 12, 2020, but a release has been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States .

Anime

In October 2019 it was announced that Majo no Tabitabi will be converted into an anime television series. This is being created in Studio C2C under the direction of Toshiyuki Kubooka and is scheduled for October 2020.

success

In the annual top list of the guide Kono Light Novel ga Sugoi! of the Takarajimasha company , Majo no Tabitabi landed in ninth place in the Tankōbon category . In 2019 and 2020, the light novel took sixth place.
