Maksmeri is a natural lake in the Saaremaa rural community in Saare County on the largest Estonian island of Saaremaa . The 3.9 hectare lake is located in the Karala-Pilguse hoiuala nature reserve . 80 meters west of the lake is the lake Nigu Laht and 900 meters to the northeast is the place Jõgela .
