Malel is a motu in the east of the Arno Atoll of the Pacific republic of the Marshall Islands .

Malel is located at the east end of the Arno Main Lagoon and closes this lagoon together with Kilange to the east. The edge of the reef also splits into a northern and a southern rim. Malel lies on the southern edge and extends to the west, where the Motu of Matolen (Lomarin Malel) join in close proximity . The northern reef rim is only about 800 m away at this point and forms a series of motu around Maangrar and Boken . The Motu is the main district of the traditional area Rearlab-Lab ( Rearlaplap , Baranailïngïn ).
