Arnold Joseph Finger

Arnold Joseph Finger (born September 13, 1746 in Cochem ; † June 16, 1809 in ibid.) Was a German administrator and city ​​schoolteacher .

Life

Arnold Joseph Finger was a son of Arnold Albert Finger and his wife Katharina Gertrud geb. Nalbach, who married on March 3, 1737 and had a total of 9 children. From 1769 he was the city school leader, assessor and judge in Cochem. He was appointed administrator in 1782 and after the occupation of Kurtrier by French revolutionary troops in 1794 , he remained in office as Maire ( mayor ).

Arnold Joseph Finger (the date of his doctorate is not known), was in Trier with Anna Franziska Amalia Augusta, born on February 17, 1783 . Altringer († June 7, 1819) married. His grandfather was the imperial postmaster and magistrate Johannes Albertus Finger (* around 1660; † April 28, 1721) , who also came from Cochem .
