Painter of the Tarentine Troilos

The painter of the Tarentine Troilos (after English Painter of the Taranto Troilos ; other potential spellings: painter of Troilos of Taranto and painter of Taranto Troilos ) is the emergency name of an ancient Greek vase painter of the Attic black-figure style .

The handicraft handwriting of the painter of Troilos of Taranto was identified by John D. Beazley from the multitude of traditional Greek painted vases and fragments. The previously known work is very small and includes only two Sianaschalen the variant kink Fries dish in the National Archaeological Museum of Taranto . The name vase shows Achilles and Troilos on the A side . The works are dated to the last quarter of the 7th century BC. Dated.
