Malicious code

Malicious code ( German  harmful code ) or malware is a collective term for computer applications that generate undesirable effects, such as Trojan horses , computer viruses or computer worms . Malicious codes are injected into web applications (e.g. as JavaScript code) in order to gain control over online applications (e.g. in the area of ​​online banking). Malicious codes can also be used to attempt to obtain a session cookie that allows a session to be hijacked .
