The Mallorca Magazin is a German weekly newspaper in Mallorca . It was founded in 1971 at the beginning of the tourism boom on Mallorca.

subjects

The German-language foreign publication is aimed at both German-speaking vacationers and residents living on the island. As a purely local newspaper, made by ten trained German editors, Mallorca Magazin deals almost exclusively with island topics. The Mallorca Magazin is frequently quoted in German media and thus also has a function as a multiplier for Mallorca subjects. The German TV program and doctor addresses are also published.

Circulation and distribution

The circulation is - depending on the season - between 23,000 and 32,000 copies. The average number of pages is 88 pages. Almost a third of the circulation, which always appears on Thursdays, goes to the DA-CH countries; There is a permanent subscriber base there, as well as kiosk sales at train stations, airports and other strategically important points. In Mallorca, sales are largely carried out through kiosks and shops. The Mallorca Magazin is published by Grupo Serra by the publisher Pere Antoni Serra Bauzà , the leading media company in the Balearic Islands .

Authors and collaborators

Well-known authors of Mallorca Magazin were Herbert Heinrich (1922–2012) and Josep Moll i Marquès (1934–2007).
