The Malzmüllerwiesenteich is a shallow pond in the Störmarsch in Itzehoe .
The pond was artificially created in the late 1970s as part of the creation of a local recreation area. In the north-west is the festival area, on which annual markets and similar events take place; in the south it is bounded by the sturgeon dike. The pond is leased by the Itzehoe sports fishing club and serves as a rearing water for the club. It is fished before winter. In winters when the ice cover is stable enough, the pond is also released for ice skating. Bathing in the pond is not prohibited.
There are several motorhome parking spaces on the festival site, the Malzmüllerwiesen . A supply and disposal station is available in the adjacent parking lot.
A tributary takes place via the Hühnerbach , which is called Mühlengraben in its lower course .
