Mama-san
The Japanese term Mama-san usually refers to a maternal, patient barmaid who can listen tirelessly. Sarariman's employees come to her after their workday and drink whiskey and beer. Mama-san refills them from her own - labeled - bottles and serves small bites. Usually once a month Mama-san picks up the bill. Many companies have even set up their own accounts for this purpose.
Mama-san also describes women with controlling functions in the sex trade.
