Mama Fatima Singhateh is a Gambian lawyer and politician.

Life

Singhateh graduated from the University of Hull with a Bachelor of Laws and Master of Laws degree .

From August 2009 to 2012 she worked as a judge at the High Court , then at the Court of Appeal .

In August 2013, it was the successor of Amie Joof Conteh for the Attorney General and Minister of Justice of The Gambia appointed, but in February 2014 by Basirou Mahoney replaced. In January 2015 she took over from him again after a failed coup attempt against the president. Following Adama Barrow's takeover in early 2017, she was replaced in office by Abubacarr Tambadou .

Awards and honors

She is the holder of the Order of the Republic of The Gambia at the member level .
