The village of Mamishaus is a settlement in the municipality of Schwarzenburg in the canton of Bern .

The settlement is on the connecting road from Schwarzenburg to Riggisberg , still on the level where the Schwarzenburg short-wave transmitter was located, before the road follows the Lindenbach down to the Schwarzwasser . In Mamishaus, a side street branches off from the connecting road to Gambach.

history

The village has always been part of the Wahlern parish and the resulting political municipality of Wahlern . In the earlier municipal code, Mamishaus belongs to the Tännlenen department. Because of the cheese dairy, the village has a certain importance for the surrounding farms. While the Tännlenen school building is around 300 meters outside.

The village is connected to the Schwarzenburg and Riggisberg train stations by the 30.611 bus that runs every half hour. Five surrounding stops also contain the name Mamishaus, not just the “Mamishaus, Dorf” stop in the village.
