The Mamoun Lake ( French Lac mamoune) is a non-permanent lake in the Prefecture of Vakaga in the north of the Central African Republic . It is located about 20 km southeast of the border with Chad . The lake is 14 km long and 4 km wide. It is fed by the Bahr Kameur, a tributary of the Bahr Aouk , which flows into the Shari , and has no drain.
