ManageEngine is a product division of Zoho Corporation (formerly AdventNet) and comprises proprietary software solutions for IT management in small and medium-sized companies. In addition to ticketing software , desktop management and IT security , the majority of the more than 40 products focus on network management and monitoring. Zoho Corporation was founded in 1996 by Sridhar Vembu and initially developed frameworks for network management software. The manufacturer has been using these frameworks as the basis for the ManageEngine products since 2003. In addition, the Zoho Office Suite has existed since 2005 as a web-based and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) alternative to desktop office applications.

ManageEngine is positioned as a brand for small and medium-sized companies, which on the one hand is cheap to buy and operate, and on the other hand offers the majority of the functionalities of the established products in the respective markets. Licensing

The license is bound depending on the product size, use can be measured with the aid of the screen. The network monitoring software OpManager is licensed according to so-called "devices", ie devices for which a monitor is set up. Depending on the functionality required, you can choose between different editions. There are three standard editions for OpManager, with the price increasing with the range of functions. In addition, the manufacturer provides free editions for almost all products, the functionality of which is limited. These are suitable for very small businesses and some for private use.
