Management Development Institute

The Management Development Institute (MDI) is an educational institution in the tertiary sector in the West African state of Gambia . The campus is located in Serekunda - Kanifing . The institute, founded in 1982, teaches its students in the areas of business management and business management.

Juka Jabang was Director General of MDI from 1992 to 2007 . She was followed by Alieu Jarju in September 2007 .

The institute has six main areas:

  • General management
  • Business management
  • Private sector development
  • Housekeeping and accounting
  • Information technology & computers
  • Research & advice
