Mananjary is a city on the east coast of Madagascar at the mouth of the Mananjary River in the Vatovavy-Fitovinany region with 28,498 inhabitants in 2005. The Canal des Pangalanes divides the city into two parts. The city is at the eastern end of National Road 25 .
The city is the seat of the Diocese of Mananjary .
