Manfred Ebner (politician, December 1953)

Manfred Ebner (born December 20, 1953 ) is an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ) as well as construction and surveying technician. Ebner was a member of the Carinthian state parliament from 2009 to 2018 .

Ebner attended elementary school in Puch, Weißenstein community and then switched to secondary school in Villach - Lind . After graduating from HTL Villach , he worked as a construction and surveying technician, from 1974 at the ÖBB . Between 1995 and 2007 he was the cafeteria operator in Weißenstein and between 1998 and 2007 he was also an event organizer and restaurant operator in the Kulturhaus Weißenstein. Ebner has been running an engineering office for interior design and surveying since 1995.

Ebner was elected to the council of Weißenstein in 1985 and to the council in 1996. In 1997 he took over the office of 1st Vice Mayor and was at the same time building and cultural advisor. He ran in the state elections in 2009 and made it into the state parliament. In the course of his election, he withdrew from his position as Vice Mayor on March 27, 2009, but retained the position of building and culture officer as a member of the community council. On March 31, 2009 Ebner was sworn in in the state parliament.

Ebner is married and has a daughter and a son. He lives in Puch, Weißenstein community.
