Manfred Eggstein

Manfred Eggstein (born January 28, 1927 in Weingarten (Württemberg) ; † September 15, 1993 ) was a German internist .

Act

After completing his studies, Manfred Eggstein started working at the University of Marburg . He obtained his habilitation in 1961. He taught clinical chemistry at the MTA school in Marburg from 1956 to 1962. In 1962 he moved to the University of Tübingen . He was appointed professor in 1967.

Eggstein was director of the Department of Internal Medicine IV of the Medical University Clinic and Polyclinic in Otfried-Müller-Strasse in Tübingen.

He has published more than 200 medical articles. He was buried in the Tübingen Bergfriedhof in 1993 .
