Manfred Günther (born  September 4, 1956 - † July 26, 2001 ) was a German soccer player .

He played for the amateurs of VfB Stuttgart . In the 1975/76 season he played four games in the 2nd Bundesliga South for the licensed team. At the end of the season, VfB Stuttgart finished 11th. Günther received a professional contract for the following season. After he came to no more use in the first team, he returned to the amateur team. With this he rose in 1979 to the amateur league of Baden-Württemberg . Although he was part of the regular league squad of VfB, he did not appear in his three league years for the team. At the end of the 1980/81 season, Günther moved to TSV Leinfelden.
