Manfred Bettinger
Manfred Bettinger , actually Manfred Hinrichs , (* 1954 in Willen ) is a German actor , author and dramaturge .
Life
First, he completed an apprenticeship as a civil engineering draftsman, which was followed by a high school diploma in engineering / technology. 1974–1978 he studied graphic design at the Hochschule für Gestaltung in Bremen and also took acting lessons.
As early as 1977 he was an actor at the Ernst-Waldau-Theater in Bremen . He stayed there until 1982. From 1980 to 1982 he also worked for the Karl Mahnke Theaterverlag in Verden . Here he also started translating into Low German. In 1982 he became a permanent member of the ensemble at the Ohnsorg Theater in Hamburg under his stage name Manfred Bettinger . There he was also assistant director from 1983 to 1991 and as a dramaturge from 2003 to 2006.
In the meantime he has also written a number of plays for open-air theaters, but also Low German plays and Christmas tales for the Ohnsorg Theater.
